Buying a Bungalow or Mooring Plot

The general purchase process in buying one of these River Thurne plots is the same as for any other leasehold property. However, because all River Thurne plot leaseholders have also to be registered shareholders in the Lessor Company, Thurne Bungalows Management Company Limited, there are important detail differences.

Potential buyer or actual vendor, please contact your solicitor, but be aware that not all solicitors are au fait with the stock transfer element of these leasehold assignments.  

Selling a Bungalow or Mooring Plot

It is expected that you would employ a solicitor to act on your behalf in the transfer of both your lease and your TBMC Ltd share certificate(s). You should make your solicitor aware of the proposed sale and entrust him with your TBMC Ltd Ordinary Share Certificate(s) together with your copy of your lease documents.
